Not Good!

2008 hunting vacation.......I was immobilized with a terrible stomach virus, I hunted about 6 hrs over 6 days, weather was cool and I actually saw 2 nice bucks, just couln't get a shot.
2009 hunting vacation......good health but bad weather, temps too hot, in the 70's. I hunted about 23 hours over 3 days. 1 small buck during the daylight, numerous animals walking in and out in the dark.
2010 hunting vacation......I'm thinking Colorado for elk!

Finally, after seeing a couple of nice bucks and numerous small bucks come in close, I had an opportunity at a doe. I took full advantage and connected at about 6 yards! I am now headed into my 4 day hunt with a buck authorization sticker.

Opening Day.

Opening day is in the books. Luckily it is a long season because it was nothing to brag about. 0 deer, 6 turkeys, however not in bow range.
I ended up only hunting about 4 hours as it was just too hot, so I decided to back out and wait for better conditions not wanting to stink out my stand sites.
Come on cooler temps, or at least some overcast skies.

My computer is back up after a catstrophic hard drive crash. I will be updating soon.
The Athens Accomplice is now in house and shooting incredible. Pictures and some 3d shoot scores will be added shortly!

2010 is going to see multiple improvements and a few upgrades to the site. Most importantly....More Content!
Starting in May when I will have some good turkey hunting footage. And some photos and video of some of the 3d events.

2010 is looking like it will be a big year here at BCB. We'll start with Turkeys in April, then get into some stand placement information along with more and better trail camera updates and photos. I am planning on hitting the road as well, most likely up to the Chequamagen National Forest for a Wisconsin wilderness hunt in late October. I am also looking into a better video player for 2010 hunts.
